The Full Moon/Blue Moon Eclipse had a lot of lessons to teach us.
I have been talking with clients and friends all week about the lessons they were given this week. I watch as these amazing souls do things like cross a writing retreat off their bucket list, finally break up with someone who takes more than gives, and love themselves to where their self-care becomes their priority, even when they are around their family. It’s been a wonderful process to witness. Each lesson came in a different way and made a lasting impression.
For me, this lesson came in the form of a baseline diagnosis. Finally knowing the cause of so many symptoms will cause me to slow down, to put my self-care first and to positively address the stress levels. It also forces me to step back from manifesting from an ego place and look at manifesting from a spirit way. I will be concentrative on what is truly going to work for me and my body vs. what my ego wants me to accomplish. I cried a lot after this diagnosis. For one thing, is was a relief to finally know, and there is also level of mourning. It’s a lot of energy happening with these moons for us to take on.
This week as we move towards the New Moon of this month, and the only major Moon, we are being invited to slow way down. To just allow our bodies and souls to integrate these lessons, this energy, these magical times.
I officially can no longer work in a traditional manner; I cannot sit for hours at a time. I must put my health first which is not something that works very well in modern day corporate America. I have to drop out of the rat race and this scares me. I am using this week to slow down almost to a full stop and to work on my intentions with this new piece of the puzzle. What do my dreams look like through this new view? How can I come to peace with the fact I now have life-long health issues that won’t go away?
I’m also using this information to create a gratitude list. I want to imbue everything I do with gratitude while I start this new journey. Add the intention of gratitude to each move.
To begin with, I’m grateful for Ritual Coaching. I’m grateful for all of you. Every comment, email, customer, and Patreon supporter gives me strength to keep moving forward. This is not how I thought life would turn out and I have some regrets around this. But I also am grateful to have more time to dedicate myself to helping others, to working on Ritual Coaching and to being available for clients and friends. It excites me to watch and support others manifesting their dreams. I am grateful for this exciting new life where I get to help and support others in their dreams, which is one of my own dreams. I get to do this while healing my body and becoming more present.
Ritual for When Life Slows You Down
Slowing down is not something we are used to, in this hectic world, and it usually seems related to a loss of sorts. But let’s use this week to purposely slow down in a positive way. Let’s give ourselves time to adjust to this new energy coming through. Let’s give ourselves time to rest and to practice being present.
Light a candle, make a cup of tea and get your journal out while being in silence. We want to be fully present in this ritual. Sit down, breathe deeply, and set an intention to slow down this week. Set the intention to practice mindful gratitude all week. Even in the hardest moments, is there a way to counter harshness with gratitude? Use your journal and start to make your gratitude list. We don’t want to just create a couple of affirmations out of this Ritual. We want to write as many details as possible and weave your story into this Ritual. Write down as much as you can about gratefulness and the details of your life. After doing this for a least 10 minutes, you will feel a physical, emotional and spiritual difference. How many times a week can you do this Ritual? Please don’t overload your life with more items for your to-do list, but I want to encourage ways to feel better on a daily basis.
Allow this feeling of gratitude to wash over you. We need to build our strength right now. We need to focus on ways to create balance and health in our lives. This is one of the first steps we can take.
