This year, let’s do something a little different this year.
Let’s forgo of the intention lists for a few days. We have a beautiful New Moon in Capricorn coming on January 5th where we can set our intentions for the year. We won’t miss out on the energy but delaying our need for intention lists or resolutions.
Instead of the usual list of intentions, let’s take the evening to focus on the beauty of our lives in the present moment. Let’s focus our thoughts, our words and our company on what fills us up with love and wellness. Spend the next few days doing what makes you feel balanced, loving and healthy. Live your life in a very intentional and simple way for the next few days. No need for hangovers, for over-eating, for spending money you don’t have on programs to create a better life or for pushing your body to exhaustion. Celebrations are best lived when present. Life is best lived when present.
Let’s find the joy in the evening walk, the morning cup of coffee or the hug from your friend. Let’s stop waiting for the dream to manifest and instead, focus on where you are right. Right now. Not in the past or in the future but where you are in this exact moment you are reading this. Take a moment to breathe and capture this feeling.
Let’s pause on the push to determine the future, to make plans, to set intention and let’s just be still. Spend the next few days doing what makes you feel healthy, happy and alive. Let’s focus on bringing in more peace and love this year.
Let’s pause on shopping, spending money or wasting these precious days on people that do not fill us up. Let’s just give ourselves the space to step into 2019 being present and not pulled. If you miss a sale, a class or a fancy party, it’s going to be fine. It’s a good thing to decide to save money this year, to allow for your own voice and magic to be your guide, to stay in for the night and focus on yourself. Let yourself just be present.
